Experience Joyful Learning at Nevada’s Leading Preschool

Purple Door is a true play-based preschool for potty trained students 33 months through five years old.  We offer Lavender Door at our Midtown Campus which is our toddler program for children 12 months through 33 months old and our preschool for children potty trained 33 months and up.

In small groups of eleven students to two teachers, children move around the most unique learn-and-play preschool in the Reno/Sparks area!  With 12 special rooms including, Engineering, Mechanics, Symphonies, the Science Lab, the Art Studio and so many more, kids rotate around the school with their small class.

We believe children learn best through meaningful play. Purple Door’s play-based, child centered school reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help and aesthetic areas for the total development of the young child. Meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image in the child.
